Coaching

Change the way you see things, and the things you see will change.”

What is GROWTH Coaching?

GROWTH Coaching is a partnership between the client and coach with the focus of working to the client’s agenda.  Clients request GROWTH coaching because they want something to change. The core purpose of GROWTH coaching is to increase the client’s self-awareness to make changes necessary to become more effective in their personal or professional life.

What Is The Coaching Framework?

The framework begins with an initial set of client questions through which the client and I will have a foundation to build upon. These client questions include:

1.    Where, who and what am I now – in my life, my work, my relationships, my skills?
2.    Where, who and what would I like to be ideally?
3.    Given those answers, what goals do I need to set for myself?
4.    How can I achieve and sustain those goals?

What does this partnership look like?

1.    It is my role to ask questions connected to the client’s goals that take them into another level of awareness about their choices, responses and own resourcefulness in handling life’s challenges.
2.    Our partnership is based upon both of us being equals and having total respect for one another.
3.    Coaching is client-centered and the client always sets the coaching agenda.
4.    Difficulties within a client’s life touch both their work and private lives. The whole person is addressed during the coaching engagement.
5.    Giving advice is not part of the partnership
6.    Each session the clients will leave with a plan of action they have created around each of their goals.
7.    The client’s Growth happens outside and in between sessions.

Now What?

Step One -  Choice is the first step of wanting to make a change.  Next comes the decision to participate in                      GROWTH coaching. What is your choice?
Step Two –  Take Action! Growth calls us to action and commitment. What is your goal? How will you achieve                     your goal?
Step Three - Change always requires true commitment. Homework that you assign to yourself each session                     and complete for the next session engages commitment. Are you ready for the commitment?
